How to Make Delicious Silver Dollar Pancakes

While you can stick with a basic pancake recipe for your breakfast, there are still many more varieties from apple to chocolate chip to many more that you can choose from. A simple variation on the basic pancake that you can do for something new is the silver dollar pancake.

How are silver dollar pancakes different from regular pancakes? They actually aren't that different, usually. They are essentially just basic pancakes that are much smaller. They are smaller than the usual pancakes that are about the width of a cantaloupe in size.

Silver dollar pancakes are more similar to the width of an apple or orange. They are small like silver dollars found in the ocean. How do you make silver dollar pancakes? Most of these recipes are very similar to or even identical to the basic pancake recipe.

If you want to make small silver dollar pancakes without too much hassle, do it this way. It's simple and easy. Find a good basic pancake recipe, preferably one that has great reviews for being fluffy and golden brown. Basically, you want a great recipe.

There are also recipes available that are for silver dollar pancakes. As I mentioned, you will notice that some are just basically the same as basic pancake recipes. Others are completely different, but still taste great.

Follow the recipe you have according to the instructions. Mix the wet and dry ingredients separately and then combine them together. Mix it well but don't overbeat it. You want fluffy, not tough, pancakes.

After you have the batter ready, heat the griddle to about medium high and lightly great it with butter, oil, or using a nonstick cooking spray. Be careful using butter because it might burn. Then, pour the batter to for tiny pancakes the size you want on the pan.

These pancakes are smaller, so you don't need to cook them as long. It should take less than a minute. Experiment at first and then you'll get the hang of it. Serve warm with butter and syrup and enjoy!
