If you want a simple and tasty breakfast, you can't go wrong with pancakes. Keep some tips in mind and watch what you're doing, and it's hard to mess up on making a delicious batch of golden brown pancakes.

One tip to keep in mind is to not beat the batter too much. You only need to gently stir it until it is mixed together. If you over-beat it, you will get tough, very undesireable pancakes. Think gentle with pancakes.

What can you do to make pancakes extra special? If you make pancakes a lot and get bored with the basic cake, give it something to jazz it up and get more excited.

One pancake addition idea is fruit. You probably have fruit for breakfast in some way all the time whether it's in your oatmeal or just a plain piece of fruit. Fruit can be a great way to jazz up your boring pancakes.

There are several ways you can add fruit to pancakes. You probably have had blueberry pancakes before you. You can do this with virtually any fruit. Just take a few slices of fruit or a handful of berries and throw them into the batter.

You can also throw the fruit on top. If you don't like warm, cooked fruit, doing it this way will keep it fresh and delicious. For example, load up the finished pancakes with fresh sliced strawberries and top it off with some creamy whipped cream.

If you love fruit and you love pancakes, you must try the combination. It might just taste so much better than you ever could imagine. Try all kinds of fruit and different mixes and see how it tastes mixing it all together!
